A clear understanding of the surgical anatomy of the temporal bone is essential in performing ear surgery. Temporal bone dissection is not only the best way to learn anatomy of the temporal bone but also the best way to practice surgical procedures using for the treatment of ear disorders, e.g. mastoidectomy, facial nerve decompression, ossciculoplasty, labyrinthectomy etc

BASIC COURSE
The goal of this intensive 4-day course is to enhance the surgeon's knowledge on surgical anatomy of the external ear, middle ear, inner ear, facial nerves and other important structures of the temporal bone. The curriculum is focused on the surgical landmarks and their relationships to the important structures. The temporal bone dissection will enable you to study these surgical landmarks and their relationships in 3 dimensions. Participants will be individually instructed by the experienced instructors. Apart from practicing temporal bone dissection in the laboratory, there are also lectures, video presentations and discussions.

ADVANCED COURSE
The goal of this intensive 4-day course is to enhance the surgeon's ability to perform the otologic surgical procedures. The curriculum is focused on the surgical procedures that are commonly used in the Asian countries. Participants will be individually instructed by the experienced instructors. Apart from practicing temporal bone dissection in the laboratory, there are also lectures, video presentations and discussions.
TEMPORAL BONE LABORATORY
The Temporal Bone Laboratory at Otological Centre: Bangkok Unit has the same modern facility as of the laboratory in USA. Each work station is equipped with microscope, drill, water, suction and all necessary instruments.
